Morillo Construction, Inc. and IBI Group have partnered up again on this Design/ Build Aquatics Center located at Pioneer Highschool in Whittier, CA. The Aquatic Center comes complete with two pools, one 50-meters-by-25-yard Olympic-size swimming pool and a 25-meter-by-25-yard practice pool, and a brand-new building with changing rooms, restrooms, and classrooms. In addition to functioning as a recreational center for locals, the aquatic center also provides a place for the County of LA Underwater Unit and American Red Cross to host training sessions and provide educational services and experience programs for SCUBA divers, Lifeguards, and rescue professionals.
